The property is approached via a private gated entrance which leads to a large driveway providing ample parking. A detached garage with separate heated store room and gardeners kitchenette also forms part of the property.
With the house situated in the very heart of the estate, residents must appreciate and know that the location plays host to the Festival of Speed each year where access will be significantly restricted. Local Area
Goodwood Estate is located approximately 4 miles north of the Cathedral city of Chichester. Voted one of the top places to live in the UK according to The Sunday Times, Chichester has something for everyone. Elegant Georgian architecture sits alongside striking contemporary homes and a fabulous range of restaurants and shops, both independent and high street names including John Lewis. Good schools are naturally a major attraction for families.
The surrounding area provides a wide range of sporting and recreational facilities. In particular Goodwood is home to some of the best facilities in the country including golf, horse racing and its Country Club which include gym, tennis court and swimming pool. In recent years Goodwood has become increasingly well known for its annual Festival of Speed and the Revival at its historic motor circuit. The nearby South Downs provides many footpaths and bridle paths and opportunities for walking and mountain biking. Chichester Harbour plays host to a number of small sailing villages including West Wittering which is renowned for its stunning (blue flag) sandy beach. A mainline station is located at Chichester providing frequent services to and from London Victoria as well as Portsmouth and Southampton.

Why live in Chichester
We consider ourselves very lucky to be working in a city that blends so many different architectural styles, from elegant Georgian buildings to contemporary new apartments and waterside properties that overlook the harbour.
In 2013, The Sunday Times listed Chichester as one of the top places to live in the UK with ‘something for everyone’ – and they weren’t wrong. Chichester is a cathedral city, a county town and home to some of the oldest churches and buildings in the country. There are many well-regarded public and state schools in the local area with further and higher education options available from Chichester College, West Dean College and the University of Chichester. Our great schools have always made Chichester very appealing for those looking for the perfect place to raise a family.
