At Henry Adams, supporting local communities is at the heart of our business. We love meeting the inspirational people who contribute to our thriving communities and supporting local causes. As your local estate agent, we’re dedicated to making a positive impact with our wonderful residents.
As part of your community, we love getting involved with school challenges as well as fundraising for local charities and events.
Since Henry Adams was founded in 1990, we’ve been actively contributing to local events, supporting charitable causes, and promoting creativity in our areas - from street art to performing arts.
We've sponsored many of the fantastic shows produced at Chichester Festival Theatre over the past 30 years, from toe-tapping musicals to thought-provoking dramas of critical acclaim and their celebrated youth theatre group.
School ties
Our Community Liaison Co-ordinator, Dee, works closely with teachers at primary schools across the region, creating competitions to inspire and challenge. Recently, children from 24 schools entered our Olympics challenge, with the winning flag design featured on our boards during the Games. We also engage with secondary schools through their career days, explaining the exciting and varied roles in the property sector.
Step up for sport
Henry Adams is an enthusiastic supporter and proud sponsor of Chichester & Pulborough rugby clubs, Friends of Arundel Cricket Club and The Arundel Cricket Foundation, and bowls clubs at the Witterings, Middleton and Crablands. We also sponsor charity golf days hosted by the Rotary clubs of Chichester and Portsmouth North.
Fundraising
St Wilfrid’s Hospice, Chichester, is our main charity focus and holds a special place in our hearts. As well as being the headline sponsor for their annual Moonlight Walk, our colleagues fundraise through events like cycle challenges on the Isle of Wight, Christmas jumper days, and our popular Quiz Night.
Celebrating local heritage
Henry Adams also sponsors an annual award with the Sussex Heritage Trust, which highlights the best of new architectural design. This registered charity aims to preserve, improve and encourage appreciation of the natural and architectural landscape of Sussex and that's something we're proud to support.
We look forward to strengthening our community partnerships which have been forged over many years.
