Henry Adams celebrates International Women’s Day 2025

Henry Adams is marking International Women’s Day on March 8th by celebrating the invaluable contributions of women across their property consultancy and estate agency business. From negotiators and property managers to administrative support and finance, women are at the heart of the company’s operations.

Talented women in key senior roles at Henry Adams include Eve Spooner as the Financial Controller and Cheryl McCauley who manages client accounts.

The business is proud that women make up more than half of its workforce, particularly in important, customer-facing sales, lettings, and new homes roles.

Gail Chisham heads the Bognor & Aldwick operation, Laura Nix is head of Holiday Cottages, Jodie Gregory is Lettings Director, Danielle Plunkett Smith is the company’s Acquisitions, Rent Guarantee & Legal Service Specialist and Alison Guyton is Land & New Homes Director covering their Horsham region.

In addition, Helen Murch joined Henry Adams Planning last year as Associate Partner where she works alongside Peter Cleveland who heads the team, as well as three Senior Planners - Ellie White, Rebecca Tier and Dawn Appleton - and Graduate Planner, Lucy Robinson.

As part of its ongoing commitment to career progression, Henry Adams is focused on supporting more women in advancing their careers and challenging traditional industry stereotypes.

The Sales and Lettings teams at their Emsworth office, which also covers Rowlands Castle and Havant, are led by Katie Cummings (Branch Manager) and Lisa Sidebottom (Lettings Manager), who together provide a first-class service to residents throughout the local area.

Ian Wiggett, Chief Executive of Henry Adams, said, "International Women’s Day is an opportunity to celebrate the many women who contribute to our business every day while also reflecting on how we can create a more balanced and inclusive future at senior level.

“The property industry has historically been male-led, but we want to play our part in changing that by ensuring that ambition and ability define career progression for everyone at Henry Adams.”

Henry Adams looks forward to continuing to challenge outdated perceptions of the industry and supporting a workplace where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
