Promotion to Partner at Henry Adams Planning
Henry Adams LLP is pleased to announce that Peter Cleveland has become a Partner of the business with immediate effect.
Peter is a Chartered Town Planner and joined Henry Adams Planning in 2017. Since then he has strengthened the department significantly while working closely with our land and development teams.
The new position reflects Peter’s impact on the successful growth of this specialist department which offers planning advice to business and private clients of Henry Adams.
Professional advice offered includes individual planning proposals for commercial, residential and agricultural development, submitting planning applications, pursuing appeals and advising on enforcement issues on sites throughout Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire.
Peter has extensive experience in development management and strategic land gained in local government during his previous roles at Waverley Borough Council and at Arun District Council, which included involvement on the designation of the South Downs as a National Park. This in-depth knowledge of landscape planning matters is of further benefit to some of our agricultural clients.
David Adams, Partner and Head of Land & Planning at Henry Adams LLP, said, “In a relatively short time, Peter has become an integral part of the team here at Henry Adams and this promotion is thoroughly well deserved. We’re delighted that he has now joined the Partnership Board in recognition of his invaluable contributions to the success of the Group.”
Peter, who lives with his wife by the south coast in West Sussex, is a keen rugby fan and a long-standing member of Worthing Rugby Club.
He continues to be based at Henry Adams head office in Chichester where he can be reached on 01243 533633 or via peter.cleveland@henryadams.co.uk.
