Hat’s off to Henry!
We were overwhelmed with hat designs for Henry from more than 1,000 school children across the region this Christmas.
“Response to our competition to design a festive hat for our four-legged friend Henry was amazing,” said Dee Tickner, community liaison co-ordinator.
“Our sales and lettings teams visited 19 primary schools across the region in November to introduce the competition and we’ve been absolutely delighted with the way so many children rose to the challenge. Some of the entries were funny, some were colourful but all of them were great and the winning designs are fantastic.”
Entries were either handed in at the school office or to a local branch of Henry Adams where they were given a sweet treat.
The judges were looking for creativity, style and festive flair as well as inspired designs full of colour and they returned to schools throughout December to present chocolate coins to the winner in each year group.
One overall winner in each school was presented with a Lego Classic creative builder set so they can construct their own designer home this Christmas.
Huge thanks to everyone who took part and from all of us here at Henry Adams - and from our dog Henry - have a very Merry Christmas!
