Bookmark Bonanza!
Thank you to everyone at St Mary’s Catholic Primary School in Bognor Regis for inviting Gail and Dee along to your recent assembly and taking part in our Henry Adams Bookmark Competition.
The theme of the school’s fair this year was “Fields of Stories” so we joined in the spirit by asking everyone to
design a bookmark which encourages every child to read and enjoy books.
The young designers could use pictures, slogans or famous quotes and be as imaginative and creative as possible. They could stick, sew, draw, knit or paint their designs - the bolder and brighter the better!
For a chance to win a prize for their creations, the bookmarks were brought back to school by Thursday 28 June with a 50p competition entry fee. There was one winner chosen from every class and all the money raised went directly to the school’s Summer Fayre fundraiser.
