St Wilfrid’s Hospice partners with Henry Adams

Since Henry Adams first opened its doors in Chichester almost 30 years ago as estate agents and chartered surveyors, our staff have been supporting many great charitable organisations and local communities. We’re delighted to announce that from April 2018, our chosen partnership charity for the next two years is the DREAMBUILDING campaign of St Wilfrid’s Hospice in Chichester.

St Wilfrid’s is an independent local charity which has been caring for people in the last phase of their lives for over 30 years. Their staff and volunteers provide high quality specialist palliative and end of life care, working alongside the NHS and other vital local services.

Given the growing demand for their services and to maintain their high standards of specialist care, a new, larger, purpose-designed ‘DREAM BUILDING’ is under construction which will enable St Wilfrid’s Hospice to continue its great work into the future.

 Martin Curry, Partner at Henry Adams, said, “There are few amongst us who have not been affected or don’t know someone who has been affected by a terminal illness at some point. That's why we decided this year to support the aims of St Wilfrid’s Hospice in the work that they do for so many local people and their families at such a difficult time in their lives. 

“Sarah Mansell, the Campaign Director, and her team have taken on an enormous task to raise more than £15m for the new building and they’re already an amazing 86% of the way there. To add to these funds, our staff around the Henry Adams offices are already seizing on some of the fundraising ideas, including the St Wilfrid’s sponsored parachute jump, and we’ll be taking on some challenges of our own, so watch this space for a busy time ahead!”
