I See Sea Shells on the Sea Shore!
What could be better than a trip to the seaside in July! The children from Year R at Emsworth Primary School did just that and had a wonderful time exploring West Wittering beach. During their fun packed day the children told us they had played on the sand dunes, eaten their packed lunches and collected treasures from the beach to take with them back to school.
Henry Adams, Emsworth provided each child with a wooden beach hut shaped photo frame for them to stick their shells and treasures on and each child had their photograph taken to put inside their frame. A fabulous keep sake for them to remember a glorious trip to the beach when they were just four and five.
Amanda Shepherd, Deputy Headteacher at the school told the children they were very lucky that Henry Adams provided the frames for them otherwise they wouldn’t have been able to do that particular activity.
Matthew Inker, manager at Henry Adams Emsworth commented, “We are delighted to be able to make a small difference to their education by providing that little extra something for them, it’s what our involvement in schools is all about.”
