Henry Adams Commercial facilitates land sale in Horndean to Aldi
Henry Adams Commercial has agreed terms on a land sale involving two acres of surplus land owned by the popular Keydell Nursery in Horndean, Hampshire, to supermarket chain Aldi.
The transaction has been structured to support the nursery’s continued successful operations, with the land identified as non-essential to the garden centre’s core business. The nursery itself will continue trading as normal, ensuring its place within the community remains unaffected.
Martin Trundle, Director at Henry Adams Commercial, said, “We’re delighted to have facilitated this agreement, which introduces a complementary use to the nursery’s site. The decision to sell to Aldi followed an extensive evaluation process, and we believe this will add positive value to the area.”
Henry Adams Commercial worked closely with Keydell Nursery and Aldi over an 18-month period to bring this transaction to fruition. The proposed Aldi development will undergo a public consultation from 11 to 24 November. A public exhibition is scheduled for 13 November to invite feedback from the local community before a formal planning application is submitted.
Local residents are encouraged to participate in this consultation period to help shape a development that aligns with community interests.
