Henry Adams celebrates 1000th sale in Selsey
The Selsey branch of Henry Adams has just celebrated the sale of its 1,000th home thanks to Kevin Daymond, Partner, and his proactive sales team.
Negotiator Tracy Lort has been at the successful estate agency in Selsey High Street since it first opened in 2003 and Kevin joined as Manager just two years later.
“Selsey is such a great place to live and being on the South Coast is a big attraction for anyone looking for their next home by the shore,” said Kevin. “The village has a great diversity of property but it’s the friendliness of our clients which makes the job so enjoyable. We’ve sold homes to well known people who want to stay out of the limelight and holiday homes for people looking for a relaxing lifestyle within easy reach of the sandy beaches at the Witterings and not too far from city life in London or Chichester.
“There’s always been a strong retirement market but that’s changed slightly over the years with lots of people moving from London and Surrey to live here permanently and bring up their young families, or for job relocations, especially now that remote working is so achievable.”
Selsey has two good primary schools and the Selsey Academy is about to open in their new buildings after the Easter holidays. There are local shops catering for day to day needs and wider shopping is within easy reach.
The 1000th property to exchange contracts through Henry Adams in Selsey was a two bedroomed semi-detached house. Clients Barbara and Cyril Snare were delighted with the service from Kevin and his team.

Within hours of the sale exchanging contracts on the Snares’ property, Henry Adams Selsey had already exchanged on the 1,001st sale and with the Spring property market on the way, it looks like being another busy year ahead.
Kevin added, “Naturally we are delighted to have successfully sold the house for Barbara and Cyril because although we are celebrating our first 1,000 sales, we never forget that behind each transaction there are individual people moving for their own individual reasons.
