Increasing 100% Attendance at Midhurst CE Primary
Children
at Midhurst C of E Primary School were celebrating their excellent attendance
record throughout the academic school year with a presentation of a Henry Adams
trophy for every child who achieved 100% attendance.
Twenty
one children at school were delighted to be awarded a trophy at the end of year
assembly in recognition of them coming to school every day since last September,
4 from the same very healthy family! In addition, children who achieved 100%
attendance for the summer term were presented with a Henry Adams badge, all awards
were presented by Matt Shepherd from Henry Adams in Midhurst.
Head
teacher Mrs Sally Clarke commented, “The children were thrilled to receive their
trophies. We are very pleased to have Henry Adams on board to promote excellent
attendance as it has very close links with attainment and children reaching
their full potential. Last year sixteen children had 100% attendance for the whole
year and this year it has increased to twenty one.”
Henry
Adams also sponsored the school fair at both Midhurst C of E Primary and at
Easebourne C of E Primary School this summer by supplying and manning a very
popular tombola stall, all proceeds went to the schools.
