Very Grand Designs at Rose Green Infant School
The year 1 children at Rose Green Infants School
are embarking on an exciting new project, Grand Designs and making a Dream Room
in a shoe box. This year Henry Adams Estate Agents and Rita Sen Solicitors have
teamed up to sponsor the venture, providing prizes for all the children who
take part.
Gail Chisham partner at Bognor and Aldwick Henry
Adams told the children, “This is the sixth year we have been involved in Grand
Designs, we really enjoy coming to see you and can’t wait to see all your rooms
this year.” Stephen Sampson from Rita Sen added, “I am delighted to be able to
join you too, we often work with Henry Adams to help people move house, so we
thought we would like to support your Grand Designs project together.”
Stephen, Gail and Dee Tickner, Community Liaison
Coordinator for Henry Adams, asked the children to think carefully about their
choice of design for creating a room in a shoe box and how they were going to
furnish their abode using only reclaimed materials.
Henry Adams is providing trophies and badges for
children who have displayed exceptional effort and creative flair, while Rita
Sen is giving a gift to every child as a thank you for taking part.
Tash
Devo, Year 1 teacher told us, “The
children have been so excited to get started and have already planned their
rooms.”
We hope you have lots of fun Year 1; we can’t wait to see all your Grand Designs!
