Location, Location, Location!
It’s all about Location when the children in Year 4 at Rose Green Junior School were challenged to produce a brochure entitled “Rose Green Views”.
Our school/community links began with Rose Green Junior School many years ago when a teacher popped into our branch and asked if Partner Steve Tickner would host a group of children in his office and be interviewed about the role of Henry Adams within the community of Rose Green. Seeing an opportunity to support the local school Steve offered to provide prizes for the winning brochures produced by the children. Since then the children eagerly await their chance in Year 4 to take part in the competition and year on year we see amazing results; this cohort were once again exceptional. So the children of the local Junior School declare Rose Green to be a fabulous place to be and Steve Tickner adds, “Anyone reading their brochures couldn’t help but be impressed by the wonderful descriptive language and beautiful presentation of their work. A huge thank you and well done to all the budding journalists in Year 4!”
