A New Home for Mr Adams!
The excitement for Mr Adams, our friendly bear, continues and his New Year got off to a wonderful start. Sally partner from Henry Adams Midhurst, and Dee our Community Liaison coordinator, visited Midhurst CE Primary before Christmas to meet the children, introduce them to Mr Adams and invite the children to take part in their drawing competition. The children were challenged to draw a new home for Mr Adams and encouraged to be as imaginative and creative as they could; the results were fabulous! Partners and staff at Henry Adams, Midhurst were delighted to welcome the children to their office as they brought their competition entries to show them.
The designs were truly amazing and very imaginative; we had homes under the sea, tree houses, houses made from ice and snow, space themed futuristic homes and even a house in the shape of Mr Adams himself!
Partners Francis and Sally Martin and Dee were privileged to return to school yesterday to present the winning children with a Mr Adams Bear, while seven runners-up each received a Henry Adams rosette. Congratulations to our winning children and huge thank you to all the children who took part.
Sally and Francis are looking forward to future links with Midhurst CE Primary school, including attending their Summer Fair and awarding trophies to any child who has achieved 100% attendance this academic year!
